2024 National Go Topless Day - Victoria Lake Road Cleanup

To be good stewards of the land and take care of our playground. That's what being a Black Hills Jeep Club Member means to me. Using our platform for the betterment of our national forest will always hold high in my priorities. Every year, Barricade hosts a "National Go Topless Day". This is a day meant to bring together the Jeep community after a long winter and celebrate the beginning of warmer weather.

For the past couple of years, I try to organize a trail clean-up day, using National Go Topless day as the day to do that. Dozens of people came together this year in an effort to clean up Victoria Lake Road, a popular shooting site and (unfortunately) popular dumping ground for trash.

With the help of our community and U.S. Forest Service staff, Black Hills Jeeps successfully cleaned up and hauled off over 1,000 pounds of trash. The items ranged from discarded ammo casings to an entire water heater.

I'm so proud to be a part of this club and this community.
